Yes we can say that some Activist might be a Narcissist , but Many of the Activist aren't narcissist cause many of them are genuinely commited to social work.

And about Narcissism , it is a spectrum. If the Activist is Positive Narcissist or Healthy Narcissist then it is not a bad thing cause everyone is a Positive Narcissist at some point.

There are some activists whose intentions solely stem from self-enrichment rather than the desire to genuinely instigate change. They use the aspects of social justice and humanitarian politics to further their own grasping ambitions. Most of them don’t even think of the movement’s ultimate ideals because all they want is to climb the social ladder and gain more power, influence, and attention towards themselves. They don’t even shy away from making activism a business, using the goals and principles behind it to earn money through public speaking or selling their books. Unapologetically self-marketing activists tend to expect that everyone endorses what they believe in, even disparaging people who don't fit into their perception, seeing them as morally deficient and either degrading dissent through intimidation tactics, such as public humiliation or censorship. Activism becomes more about the virtue and dominance of an activist over the accomplishment of positive social change which leads to discrimination and enforces a culture of silence. There are also discriminated people defenders who give reference to their personal claims to email validation to seek sympathy and recognition which helps them in projecting their activism as theirs and their identity rather than as an objective aim. This narcissistic model of life leads to an empty and shallow-demonstration activism and sacrifices the goal of elements that would have led to a change. Activism is a very potent force for change in society, but for some people, it cancels out the most important part which is actually fighting the cause, and focuses more on building a brand
