Is Love Real?

A Poem

He was someone who would say,

"Is love real?"

Until his eyes met  her lips, smiling

Like a glimmering sunshine, brightened even the gloomiest of days

He would always try to catch a sight of her

A sight of her smiling ,from distance,

Her eyes,

'Tiny' as the world described them

But for him were as large as the universe

Where he could imagine his entire life to spend for

And she

She being the epitome of beauty

Her Grace,

As if she were heaven on earth

Her  purity

As if she were a rivulet, flowing through his veins

Driven through his heart

Her divinity,

As if she were the music,

That his fingers plucked out of the guitar strings

Her comfort,

As if she

She were the warmth, his numb soul has ever wanted

She,

She is everything.

Now,

He is someone who would ask

"Is she real?"

And

In the dilemma of life

When he stood nowhere,alone

He found it in his heart

"The portrait of her"

That smiled back at him,

and at that moment he realised

Love is real.
